For many students living in historically excluded communities, back to school season can be a time of great anxiety and stress. COR needs your help to make sure our families start the year feeling fresh and ready to dive into a new school year.
The challenges many COR students face at school go far beyond the classroom. When a student misses the bus after working late the night before, COR is there to send an Uber and welcome them with a granola bar on the way to class. When students need a quiet place to complete their homework, eat lunch, or catch a nap, they can find refuge in the HUB. If a student is in desperate need of care after losing a loved one, COR can provide one-on-one or group support to help them through the loss. And of course, when parents need an extra hand in providing healthy and diverse food options for their families, the CORner store is open and available for them to do their shopping.
